Research

EnhanceEdu was established in 2008 to enhance the quality of education in engineering colleges. The mission of the department is to improve teaching effectiveness and student learning and to promote innovations in the creative and effective use of both new and traditional educational methods, tools, and technologies. We see technology as a tool for improved teaching and learning, for formative assessment of student learning, for enhancing the curriculum, and for supporting sustainable advances in instructional strategies and teacher development. We are presently focusing on implementation of innovative software tools and information technologies as well as staff development training in the use of those tools and technologies through colleges from Andhra Pradesh. EnhanceEdu believes in problem solving and encourages its team to undertake research activities. The areas of research carried out by EnhanceEdu are

New advances in the learning sciences and educational technology will have a major impact in higher education in the future. Research will support faculty, lecturers and graduate student instructors in deploying both innovative methods of developing and delivering curricular improvements, and successful pedagogical models that are enhanced by educational technologies.
