Principles of Programming (POP)

EnhanceEdu conducts the Principles of Programming (POP) workshop as part of its productivity enhancement workshop series. The POP workshop is conducted over a 2-week period in the summer and is a wonderful opportunity for teachers to learn how to teach the concepts of programming using modern educational and software practices, apply to build web 2.0 applications and connect them to principles of software architectures and design.

Objectives and Target Audience

The objective of the course is to bring college teachers teaching introductory programming and computer science up to date with a modern way of teaching and learning programming which emphasizes a conscious use of the principles of programming to build Web 2.0 applications.
