ENHANCEEDU

EnhanceEdu an initiative of IIIT Hyderabad and Ministry of Communications and Information Technology(MCIT), works towards empowering individuals and communities by enhancing the quality of education. To actualize this goal, we have come up with a framework which involves training faculty members of engineering colleges through our Teacher Training Program (TTP), training students at engineering colleges through Certificate in Information Technology (CIT) course and conducting workshops on current and relevant topics.

STEP is the excellent choice for route of perfect learning that enhances our logical thinking step by step and builds our confidence over programming languages
Sushmita Mitra Student, II-CSE,
KG Reddy College of Engineering and Technology.

Thanks to Enhanceedu for offering such a course and bridging the employability gap between engineering students and industry. Basically, it will help to improve and fine tune the skills that you already have, and will make you a good logical thinker
Gipsa Joseph (Student),
KG Reddy College of Engineering and Technology.

CIT follows a great approach i.e., "learning by doing" based on the fact that programming languages can be best understood by not only listening to the lectures, but also by working on them. CIT provided me a great opportunity to assess my programming skills and also to develop them. The modules in the course are well organized and thus help to learn right from the basics. Overall, it is a great experience for me taking part in the course and being certified by the IIIT-H.
B. Purna Srikar,
P.V.P. Siddhartha Institute of Technology.

It is a nice experience participating in IIIT-CIT. All the assignments seem to be basics but important. Experienced a new environment, working specially, submitting assignments, analysis etc.. Interaction with pupil from IIIT is good. Linux workshop is a great beginning in finding me new system. Thank you IIIT-H.
M. Anisha,
P.V.P. Siddhartha Institute of Technology.

CIT has motivated me to do a lot of things through its approach. The tasks were framed in a nice manner which provided us to think out of the box and helped me a lot during placements. I thank our College management and EnhanceEdu, IIIT-H for providing this opportunity.
R. Gopalan,
P.V.P. Siddhartha Institute of Technology.

In the classes we had learnt only theoretically but in STEP course we got practical knowledge because it is ‘Learn by Doing’ methodology course. We got a good practical knowledge in programming.
M. Avinash,
Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College or VRSEC.

STEP course is very much useful for B. Tech students specially for Non IT branch students with great concept “Learn by Doing”.
T. Sai Sreekanth,

I was participated in TTP-5 in the last summer. The Learn by Doing method improves the learning, reasoning and problem solving skill set. I have improved my teaching skill as mentoring skills from the Enhanceedu mentors. The STEP program will provides the way to improve the skill set of a student to become employable after completion of his / her graduate.
K. Uma Shankar,
Asst. Professor, CSE - DEPT,

In my view the Student Enhancement Program (STEP) is helpful for all students pursuing professional courses. Especially the students who are theoretically sound but logically not will find this program instrumental in improving their skills. More over it improves the thinking capability of every student and also in solving the problems in a more effective manner
Mr. Nayeemuddin,
Assistant Professor,
MCA Department.

Learning By Doing methodology is a good idea to teach students. For faculty, programs like this are very helpful to learn new things for those who know already, its like of refreshing. The Assignments which are given are like Industry based, which develops the students abilities to reach the industry needs. Collaborative learning is very useful to share and exchange the ideas about how to do the problems.

I am feeling very happy that I got an opportunity to attend this Teacher Training Program conducted by IIIT, Hyderabad. This program is mainly focused on Learning by doing. Since technology is changing drastically especially in Computer Science, it is very essential that teachers should learn the things by attending such programs. I feel students can be benefited if teachers train them using the approach learning by doing and they can be Industry Ready.
